Heitaro sama came to leadership - Chairmanship
of Minami chita, during the post 1945 period
of reconstrction. This was the greatest generation
of leaders, ever, and they created one of
the world's great successes and Peace. They
are sadly leaving the stage now and this
week one more of their number left the scene
-- our dear friend, Heitaro.
What a life! Based in a home of beauty, love
and of real Japanese history going back hundreds
of years. Heitaro's constant, unceasing work
for the good People of Minami Chita, was
recognised in Tokyo, and he was decorated
with the Officer grade of the order of the
Rising Sun.
I recall the warm friendship, easy smile
and photos together with tea one evening.
Friend Heitaro had a quick understanding
and support of far away actions - with the
beautiful, signed flag Minami Chita in the
snows of Alaska where Eskimo and Indian children
live in danger, far from the safetly of Japan,
which he helped create.
Heitaro Sawada sama will be deeply missed
by this Englishman, and commiserations from
the Meegan family. At this time a huge gap
has opened up within the Sawada family. Our
hearts are with you.
We also celebrate great father's great life!
Yes!
